Renesmee the CGI Baby?!
I don’t like the sounds of that one bit but they do have a point here:
On Stephenie Meyer’s official website, she said ‘Breaking Dawn might be impossible to film because of Renesmee. You can do almost anything with CGI these days—realistic dragons and dinosaurs and endless amounts of nonexistent creatures that blend right in with the real elements. Some of them look so real you forget they’re not. However, the one thing that I’ve never seen is a CGI human being who truly looks real. An actress can’t play Renesmee, at least not when she’s a few days old; she’s the size of a baby, but her expressions are totally controlled and aware. She would have to be a construct, and CGI isn’t quite there yet. Of course, they develop amazing new technologies everyday, and we’ve got a little time left.’
But the filming of the movie is meant to take place almost immediately as they finish Eclipse
Really? They couldn’t just film 4 different kids at different ages and shit? It’s not possible to use a human baby at all? I always pictured Suri Cruise as Renesmee. I’m pretty sure her fathers from another planet so she has to be the closest real fake baby we got! She is rather adorable though … a little too adorable if you ask me *dun dun dunnn*. Who do you think would play a good Renesmee?

I swear..I don’t get much time to read blogs but this s*#t is funny. I do think Suri Cruise would make a good Renesmee.

Surely all they would have to do is use real kids and use CGI for the eyes and any tweeks to obtain the proper facial expression. I think Steph was over thinking it cgi those two things and you’ve got Renesmee a baby with considerable intelligence and the understanding of an adult.

OMG! i was about to post that Doowa! LOL they will figure out a way. i know they will. (the had fucking better because if they destroy breaking dawn i will personally march down to summit and rip someones head off.)
anyyyyyway! i think that suri would look like the perfect renesmee i haven’t really seen many other celebabies that would look just right. my niece would be an adorable renesmee, but maybe i’m just bias :p

I had thought about how they would create Reneesmee when I read the books.
Benjamin Button managed to show Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett at different ages by using various actors, as well as CGI to make it look like the same person getting older/younger.
I figure that they will just do something similar to that.

If they don’t make Breaking Dawn, I am going to scream until I am hoarse. Suri would make a great Renesmee surprisingly, but will she be to big for the part once they finally get around to shooting? How old is she at this point. Too bad she doesn’t have chocolate brown eyes because then she should as hell would be perfect.

Suri would make an adorable Renesmee. I’m sure they’re work something out with technology rapidly growing. There is absolutely NO WAY you can start filming Twilight without thinking about filming Breaking Dawn. Once you start, you gotta do em’ all.

they mapped emotions on to actresses face. maybe they can do that for certain parts of the movie where renesmee has to look alert. as long as they keep those moments short and few and far inbetween which im sure they will if they show them at all – they could use something like this lol. the powers that be will figure it out! im not worried.

I think everyone is very protective of Breaking Dawn, one it is the last movie, two …SEX..lmao jk but not really…
I hope they sort this shit out && yes Suri looks perfect for the part…

i HATE cgi! they can’t do that! it always looks fake to me. i don’t think it would be hard to find beautiful babies at different ages? uggg… please no! that would ruin it for me.
… also, they better put some sex in there. none of this pg-13 crap. maybe they should make two versions? one that’s pg-13 and one that’s XXX!

holy shit. teamjake i just watched that clip and if THAT is what they’re talking about in regards to renesmee i feel a little more at east. the way stephenie meyers described it made it seem like it was gonna be a completely fake baby, like EVERYTHING so i got worried. no matter how awesome technology is though i just feel like nothing beats the real thing. remember look who’s talking? i LOVED that movie haha. and yah suri will be too old when breaking dawn comes out but i hear half human half alien babies can control their age process so it might still work ;oP

the benjamin button baby in cgi looked like a creepy wrinkled robot. but i don’t think steph knows what she’s talking about. if these babies -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PHnRIn74Ag – are roller skating for evian, they can cgi suri (i vote for her she’s so cute!) for renesmee’s role. aaaand, this new movie avatar – http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/avatar/ – has pretty damn good cgi duhhhh haha. still love her though!
