NEW MOON: what’s your favorite part?

mine is DEFINITELY the mike/bella/jacob movie scene and when victoria first encounters the wolfpack – GAH! thom yorke’s hearing damage song gives me the chills as victoria (we miss you rachelle!) runs through the forest with the wolves at her tail… DAMN GOOD edit job and sound check.
other than that… i’d have to admit – and don’t scrutinize me – i was not that big of a fan of this one… maybe its because i REALLY don’t find jacob all that appealing… the way he speaks kinda annoys me, but GDAMN i couldn’t get my eyes off his abs and “V” down there, if you know what i mean! =P

i liked the part where the months pass as Bella looks out the window. i loved that they had her “talking” to Alice, instead of just talking to herself. of the entire movie, that’s the only place I got teary!

My fav part was the bella, jake and mike movie scene… and the whole volterra action!GREAT MOVIE!AMAZING!kisses from argentina!

my fav part is when Victoria meets the wolfpack, yeah T_T we miss Rachelle
and obviously JAKE!! and when Aro try to prove all the powers in Bella!
but all the movie was pefect!!

THANK YOU YOSHI. I can’t lie, the CGI was amazing and Bella did a phenomenal job of portraying the heartache, she nailed the facial expressions. I am so glad they included those four months of depression, I don’t think it would have been the same without them. As far as what part was my favorite, I mean hands down the return of Edward, but I think that was more story line then the actual part of the movie. I thought the whole wolf pack attack scene with both Victoria and Laurent was right one, at one of the points where the wolf (Jack) comes flying at the screen scared the crap out of me I jumped in my seat. Other than that, I really wasn’t that big a fan and I think part of the problem of why I was so antsy and irritated was that I was constantly waiting for Edward to come back. Although his scene, please someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought he never fully stepped out into the sunlight to expose himself, I thought Bella hit him just at the right moment. And what happened to “No, Edward, Don’t (Or was it No Edward, No”) as she ran towards him, I thought I lost my hearing at that second but it was complete silence. I watched Twilight again last night for the up-tenth time and I really enjoyed the cinematography of it a whole lot better. I understand the color change, the blue tint could be construed as a metaphor for the Cold One’s, while the natural colors of the browns and so forth go along with the hot blooded werewolves, but for a movie that’s suppose to signify depression, it almost too you away from that. Oh and the one thing that I couldn’t get over was the hair, not just Jacob’s tangled mess, but Rosalie’s, Alice’s, Emmetts and yes, even Edward. Everyone’s hair was so much better in Twilight. I understand Nikki doesn’t want to die it anymore, but they could have done such a better job on the wig. And Emmett’s his was almost too dark against his skin that it just looked awkward. Also there eyes, compare the butterscotch of NM to that of Twilight and Twilight’s are a little more subtitle and believable. But the Volturi, now they were badass, Michael Sheen was amazing and I totally started giggling to Jane’s facial expressions when her powers didn’t work on Bella. And that’s another thing, while the script at point was awkward, it was definitely funny at times. Lastly, I am so glad they got all the scenes in that they did, but at the same time, I feel like they were cutting from one scene to the next, sometimes cutting that scene too short and it left me as the moviegoer feeling like I missed something. WITH ALL THIS SAID, I am proud to say that I did cry twice (when Edward left and when they were reunited) and that when I walked out of the movie, all I wanted to do was turn around and go see it again. I’m still trying to find myself a BL copy (the one good thing about using being over in Iraq) as it would save me a lot of money instead of going back every weekend to see it over and over while I wait for it to come out on DVD.

I agree with the hunting for victoria/cliff diving scene. I loved th extra touch of Victoria swimming towards Bella. And the sings fit perfectly. I loved the months passing as well.. I wondered how they would show it because in the book it is so heartbreaking turning the blank pages. I might be alone in my next fave part but I actually really loved slices vision of Bella as a vamp.. I missed it the first time I saw the movie that she was sparkling in the sun and it was just nice to see! All in all new moon the book was not my gave but I absolutely love new moon the movie. The parts they added for the movie really helped the story line. Still team Bella + Edward!

yes! the thom yorke song playing over the victoria chase! completely agree. the effects in the wolf fight between jacob and paul were quite amazing as well.
2 gripes –
1) more alex meraz!!!!!! like 2 or 3 scenes? that’s all he got? i died when he smirked and said “sorry” to bella. swoon! haha!
2) michael copon would have made a MUCH better jacob. sorry taylautner fans, but you know it’s true.

Yes, the Paul smirk, I loved that. I can’t wait for the werewolves to become more involved even though I stand true to Team Bella and Edward. Oh yes that would have been great if they had included more of the text from the book when Bella crashed into Edward. And how can you not love the “will you marry me” part, while I’m not sure how I feel about them adding it in there and not keeping it for Eclipse, I can only hope that Eclipse director plays off of New Moon appropriately. Also, on a side note, was it just me or was Edward more sparkly in the sunlight in New Moon than he was in Twilight. I remember thinking to myself during the movie, I don’t remember him dazzling that much when he first shows Bella his skin in Twilight and then in the meadow. I STILL LOVE how the meadow is all dead and dried up in the movie, for me I feel like it represents Bella and Edwards love and how (while we all know it is still there) Bella feels as though it is dead forever.

11. Alice’s vision of Bella as a vampire stole my fucking heart away. As much as I love the whole movie, this was my absolute FAVORITE part:D I cried tears of joy, srsly.

i HATED ALL the scenes with jacob and his ugly ass self nd his ugly too huge for a 17 year old body !!! he was soo mean to mike ! my fave parts were wit alice nd the cullens nd bella nd edward ! ♥ amazing movie ! ♥

Observation: Taylor Lautner made all the other actors in this movie look out of shape and/or flabby by comparison
